The Chamber Choir is a group of about 25 auditioned members, some of whom do not study music let alone singing. Every term we perform a concert at one of the churches in Southampton, as well as embarking on one tour (usually at the beginning of the Easter holidays). In March 2007 we travelled to Northern Italy where we divided a week between Verona and Venice.

We are directed by our professional conductor who rehearses the choir on a Thursday 7.00 - 9.00 (sometimes finishing at 9.30pm as we get closer to a concert).

We are one of the two choirs that make up Southampton University Bel Canto, and throughout the year our social sec ensures there is always time to fit regular social events into our timetables to relieve the hard work and soothe the throat, as can be seen in our gallery!
